Mom has been a slacker updating the Blog, but Taylor is doing GREAT!

I'm so excited to report that Taylor is doing  well and working very hard in Atlanta, Texas.  One of the best events of my summer was getting a phone call from the branch mission leader, Brother Lee.  He couldn't say enough about Taylor and his companion, and the strength that they have been in the area.

According to Brother Lee, the branch was about to close but with the great efforts of Elder Dietz and Elder Beldon, activity in the branch has increased tremendously!  WAY TO GO TAY!

Brother Lee told me that Taylor and Elder Beldon had 12 investigators that they were working with. Three of these were older ladies who all happened to be blind.  Taylor and Elder Beldon could tell  that the ladies were interested in the Book of Mormon and if they could read it they would be touched by the Spirit.  They decided to try and get some CD players and the Book of Mormon on CD.  These arrangements were made and the little ladies are now listening to the Book of Mormon. I am sure it is a blessing in their lives!

Brother Lee said that it is amazing how ingenious Taylor is with getting the members involved and thinking of new ways to teach the investigators.  He said that Taylor and Elder Beldon and the small branch just recently helped to renovate an old Southern Baptist church.  He said that the strength and muscles of the missionaries helped a great deal with this huge undertaking.  When the project was finally completed the Minister of the church was so grateful that she talked about it at the next church meeting.  She told her congregation, that they were sitting in this beautiful building because of the Mormons.  What a an awesome missionary tool!  Great job!

Well, I am just taking a minute to brag about my hard working missionary.  We are so proud of you Tay.  Keep up the good work and the Lord will bless you!
